What is the waiting period for lost wages in Mississippi:

No payment is due for the first 5 days of disability unless the disability lasts longer than 14 days, then the first 5 days will be paid retroactively. The days do not need to be consecutive. If the employee is paid in full for the date of the accident, disability begins with the next day on which the employee is absent or unable to earn full pay; if the employee is not paid in full for the date of the accident or injury, disability begins that day.
