What is the waiting period for lost wages in Tennessee:

Wage compensation is not paid for the first 7 days of disability, excluding the day of injury.

If the work related disability extends beyond 7 days, compensation will begin with the eighth day after the injury.

If the disability from the injury exists for a period as long as 14 days, then compensation for the first 7 days of disability must be paid retroactively beginning with the first day after the injury.
